Sound Journey

A sound journey is a deeply meditative experience where you are immersed in sound waves created by healing instruments such as Himalayan singing bowls, gong, monochord, tuning forks, drums, rattles, and chimes - a powerful opportunity to release stress, reset your nervous system and reconnect with yourself.
Optional: For an extra $10, Heide Scheurer will intuitively select and place healing stones on you, setting the stage for a profound sound healing journey tailored to your personal focus or intention.

Exploring the breath as a vehicle of liberation, transformation, purification and joyous pursuit.
We’ll be practicing from the framework and teachings of rebirthing breathwork.
This will not be a full rebirthing session but a shorter exploration of the breath and its mindful nature.

Introduction: The Psychology of Eating: An Educational Workshop

Why do we eat? Why do certain patterns feel difficult to change? How do emotions, stress, and our nervous system influence our relationship with food?
This introductory workshop explores the many factors that shape eating behaviors and offers tools for developing greater awareness and choice.
Together, we will explore:
The difference between physical hunger and other reasons we eat
Emotional eating and why it can become difficult to interrupt
The role of habits, stress, and learned patterns
Approaches for creating a more compassionate and balanced relationship with food
This workshop is open to up to 18 participants and is designed as a stand-alone educational experience. It also provides a foundation for those who are interested in continuing into the Cultivating a Healthy Relationship with Food experiential group series. It will be free for those who sign up for the series
Cultivating a Healthy Relationship with Food
A Four-Week Experiential Group Series

Finding Ease and Grace through Yoga, Natural and Free Movement
This class offers a unique opportunity to have fun with the inherent pleasure of being in your body—just as it is. Together, we’ll explore natural movement patterns that emerge from our biomechanics and sensory systems, engaging with mobility, flexibility, and flow.
Introduction to Tai Chi

This class is aimed at people who are new to tai chi, or who have not practiced in a while and would like to start at the beginning.
Tai Chi Chuan (taijiquan) is a Chinese martial and movement art that focuses on proper body structure and alignment, as well as the cultivation of internal energy rather than muscular strength. This 3 week introductory class will present Tai Chi for Good Health, the Yang style short form. The form comprises 24 postures performed in a flowing manner. If you would like to work on your balance, coordination, and breathing, or simply want to find a deeper level of relaxation, give tai chi a try!
The Somatics of Language: How Words Land in the Body

In this class, we will explore the deep connection between language and the body. Through poetry, spoken word, and personal mantras, we’ll attune to how words resonate within us—how they move through our nervous systems and leave traces of meaning, memory, and emotion. Language, when fully felt, has the power to heal us from within.

THE POWER OF CHOICE: A YOGA SERIES FOR STRESS & TRAUMA

A TCTSY Closed-Group, Choice-Based Movement Practice
An 8-week, trauma-sensitive yoga series offering a choice-based exploration of movement in a small group setting. This practice invites you to notice what arises in your body and to explore movement in ways that feel accessible to you. This is not a traditional yoga class, so no prior yoga experience is required. Instead, the focus is on restoring your relationship to choice and navigating stress & trauma through movement.
Gentle & Restorative Yoga

The class will begin with thirty minutes of gentle yoga poses to release tightness and tension in the body; followed by one hour of restorative yoga poses allowing the body and mind to come into a place of stillness and restoration.

Heide Scheurer of Sound Haven Vermont will facilitate an ecstatic dance session based on The Five Rhythms that Gabrielle identified as the rhythms of life: Fluidity, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness. “Moving the body through rhythms releases emotions; the release of the body inevitably leads to the release of the heart.”
