Kate Gamble, Founder/Director, BFA, MSPT
Kate founded Open Door in 2014 with the goal of developing a wellness center and programming that offered a different model for health care delivery. This model is client centered with the goal of allowing the individual or group to have agency through knowledge and pragmatic tools found in integrated wellness.
Kelly Armbrust
Kelly Armbrust, Somatic Practitioner, Dance/Movement Educator, BA, MA
Kelly Armbrust holds a BA in dance and an MA in somatic psychology/dance therapy and has engaged with dance both artistically and therapeutically for much of her life. As a teacher, her approach blends the traditional and technical with more contemporary and somatic practices, always holding the dual intention of training dancers while supporting her students’ growth as human beings. She believes that dance can connect us more deeply to ourselves and our world, and strives to awaken a growing curiosity and authenticity in her students.
Mandy Snyder
Mandy Snyder is an IFS-informed somatic healer and expressive arts facilitator who is passionate about creating spaces for self-discovery. With warmth and welcoming, she guides others to make contact with self-compassion, a balm that makes everything just a little easier. Her individual sessions, groups and workshops draw from her training in Somatic Experiencing, study in Internal Family Systems and 25 + years as in movement studies, including Authentic Movement. A lover of nature and laughter, Mandy has spent many years in Vermont and California, and now makes Western Massachusetts her home.
Denisha Burns
Denisha Burns (she/her) is a Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) and Somatic Experiencing student practitioner offering trauma-informed, body-based support. She holds a 300-hour TCTSY certification from the Trauma Center and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500). Her work centers choice, agency, and interoceptive awareness, meeting each person where they are without pressure to perform or achieve. Her approach supports reconnecting with the body in ways that honor autonomy, safety, and the internal experience.

With three decades of experience, Kevin has two primary goals for his work: promoting more options for his client’s movement, and diminishing or eliminating chronic and acute pain. He focuses on deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and personal training. Read more
Dr. James Stahl, MD, MPH
Dr. James Stahl is a physician and researcher based at DHMC and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Geisel school of medicine. In addition to being a published researcher in decision science, systems engineering and mind-body medicine, he has also earned black belts in both Shaolin Kempo and Baguazhang, which he also teaches. Holly Westling
Holly Westling, Nutritionist, BSN, MS, CNS
Holly provides nutritional counseling with a focus on functional nutrition. She enjoys helping clients reduce inflammation and resulting symptoms, identifying and resolving food sensitivities. Holly offers one-on-one counseling, group sessions, and cooking demonstrations. Read more
