This weekend retreat offers a space to slow down and listen inwardly so that expression and connection arise from genuine internal contact rather than habit or protection.

Through somatic inquiry, IFS-informed parts work, and simple, accessible movement practices, participants explore how different parts of our self live in the body and shape expression, relationship, and choice. You'll learn to recognize protective strategies as they arise and meet them with curiosity, allowing more authentic connection to self and others. You'll practice witnessing and being witnessed without fixing or interpretation.

The retreat includes solo, dyad, and small-group practices, including practices for witnessing and being witnessed without fixing or interpretation. We also offer space for rest and integration through journaling, drawing, and reflection. Designed for those with prior experience in inner work, this weekend supports deeper embodied awareness, honest expression, and relational presence.

Participants will leave with:

  • Greater capacity to track and regulate nervous system responses

  • Clearer recognition of protective parts and how they shape expression and relationships

  • Practical tools for translating inner awareness into embodied, authentic expression

  • A felt experience of being seen and heard without pressure to perform or explain

  • Increased confidence in supporting tender parts with choice and care

  • Concrete ways to integrate this work into daily life and close relationships

This retreat is best suited for participants who:

  • Have experience in therapy, coaching, or structured inner work

  • Possess basic tools for emotional regulation and self-reflection

  • Are curious about others’ inner worlds and open to sharing their own, with full respect for choice and privacy

  • Have some familiarity with parts work (dialoguing with parts; understanding protector and exile dynamic)s. If your experience is adjacent but not specifically IFS, we ask that you complete a brief preparatory reading beforehand.
