As we observe the colors of the trees, the falling of the leaves, the changing of the light, and the longer, star-filled nights, Autumn offers us the opportunity to begin to turn our attention inward as well. The qualities of this season invite us to take stock of what we have cultivated, both internally and externally, and to contemplate how we can nurture ourselves best in each moment as we move through the cycles of life.
This class will focus on how we can honor this time of transition to facilitate and deepen our experience of balance and trust in body, heart, and mind. We will explore these themes by tapping into our innate inner wisdom through breath awareness, a deeper exploration of several asanas, and a gentle vinyasa sequence or two.
Tara has been a student of Yoga and Meditation since 1998 and teaching since 2004. Tara started taking Yoga classes in college, received her teaching certifications through the ShambhavAnanda School of Yoga from 2004-on, and continues to deepen her practice in this tradition.
Tara believes that with skillful and gentle instruction in movement and breath, each person can learn to be their own best teacher and focuses on guiding students towards the innate wisdom inherent in all of us. Tara encourages others to open and trust that which flows from connecting to the eternal state of Being within so that they may exist more consistently in their natural state of wholeness, peace, love, and joy. Tara moved to the Upper Valley in 2025 and currently works as a Registered Nurse at DHMC.
