Calling all UV adults who've always wanted to dance...or return to dance after too many days or decades away! eleVe Fine Arts & Dance Studio passionately presents your chance to experience the elegance and strength of classical ballet. This first Friday class held at Open Door is designed for beginners, but all skill levels are welcome. So invite your friends and come on in to warm up on a cold evening. Traditional dance attire & shoes are not required. Yoga pants and socks are absolutely fine! Just come ready to tap into your innate artistry, learn foundational technique, and move to the classical beat via the divine practice of ballet alongside a new group of dancer friends! Victoria Sottosanti is a classically trained ballet dancer who offers dance and movement classes out of her boutique fine arts & dance studio, eleVe. Her greatest passion is storytelling, whether through somatic dance, narrative movement, performance art, or the written word. Victoria holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction and approaches dance as a memoirist. She aims to inspire her students' artistic expression, physical growth, and mind-body-soul connection by tapping into the stories our bodies hold—not to "let them go," but to revise and repurpose them into something new. She hopes you join eleVe's creative community committed to the "disciplined dreaming of mastering fine art."
